For most people, Christmas is about getting together with family and friends, playing games and possibly eating and drinking a bit too much. The last thing people want to think about is securing their home and their valuables. Unfortunately Christmas for some people is taking advantage of people’s generosity and targeting burglaries around this time of year, knowing houses will be stocked up with nice new shiny gifts.
It would be a shame to have to hide away your presents, but if you must keep them under a tree, make sure that this can’t be seen from the outside. If you’re staying at someone else’s house make sure that you give the impression you are still in. If you are away, get a neighbour to routinely pop round and check on everything.
Lastly, if you feel that the only way to get complete peace of mind is to have an alarm or CCTV fitted, then give us a call. At the time of print, we still have a couple of spare slots before the Christmas break.
For all of our existing customers, we will be at the office every day except for public holidays and our engineers will be available 24/7 as always. Just call the main number day or night. If you do have to call them out on Christmas day though, please do offer them a mince pie!
